
When the operation of a sector for novice skiers takes place in an environment which is very exposed to ice and to wind, when the maximum operation of the available skiable space is looked for, the ski lift “Vectris with braking system”, guarantees a storage shelter for the towhangers, and an optimal use of the length of available slope, thanks to the reduced dimensions of the return station. The Syndicat Intercommunal du Markstein chose the solution Vectris POMA.

The Brake motor / reducer allows work over a wide range of uses with multiple configurations. For a large availability and optimal reliability, the brake is separated. For ease of maintenance, the station integrates a device for the lifting of the motor assembly.
A unique actuator, a simple and strong mechanism, commands the whole lift. A reliable system, tried and tested for more than 40 years.
Exclusivity POMA. This system allows the skier to seize the towhanger in movement, without stopping sliding, for a supple departure without "jolts".
Tubular Pylon, with adjustable galley height: ideal adaptability to the profile of the ground and evolutional during future remodelling of the ground. Equipped of sheaves with anti-frost veil protection, which guarantee an optimal functioning in extreme weather conditions. its integrated footbridges assure secured access and maintenance. This pylon, with specific equipment, authorizes installation configurations “At an angle”.
