When the desire for a universal entry provides the conception of a lift with high transport capacity, when the accessibility to handicapped skiers becomes the first objective; the strength of POMA innovation lies on their capacity to satisfy the majority of people.
The concept Multix, by its wide modularity, allows the creation of the 1st cable railway in the world accessible to all handicapped skiers, in a comfort identical to that of the skiers. The society LHSG distinguishes itself by their choice of the solution Multix 8 POMA.

For an accessibility to all handicapped skiers and to pedestrians with limited mobility, the loading / unloading areas and the cabins have received specific rearrangements.

Mixed Carrier 8S/8C

The unusual diameter of the cable necessitates the use of exceptionally large diameter sheaves, accepting up to 1 ton of weight. 
Unique, this configuration of a mixed 8 sheaved carrier support and 8 sheaved compression offers a transport comfort, and of increased component longevity, thanks to the reduction of vibrations on the cabins.

De icing Sheaves

Patent POMA. Each sheave is equipped with 2 protection flasks of de-icer to facilitate starting the lift after an episode of snow or ice.

Underground motorization

For reduced sound, and easy maintenance, the motor elements (speed governor, electric motor, back up engine) are installed in a basement, underground.
The configuration of 2 motors in series assures the redundancy, and makes possible the operation of a single motor with a medium load.

Cable XXL

The only cable in the world, with record measurements: 6 x 31 galvanized strands, 242 tons of breaking resistance. Engineered by Arcelor Mittal, its manufacturing required the design of a specific process – Cable drum: 70 T!

Semi underground garage

How to combine, in a difficult access site, an ideal visual integration and very short delay building times? The solution... A garage in steel structure covered with concrete: efficiency, at a minimum cost.
